The main street in Denia is called the Marques De Campo. This is a tree lined avenue with many shops and tapas bars. The trees offer great shade in the hot summer months, where you can sit in a café and people watch.
Shopping
Shopping is a delight in Denia, there are the usual large supermarkets and high street essentials, but along side these you will find designer and boutique shops to browse and window shop if you are on a budget. Other wise itâs spend, spend, spend on some unique clothes, shoes and accessories. If shopping is your holiday dream just outside Denia in Ondara there is a new shopping mall with again many clothes shops as well as an Eroski superstore where you can buy just about anything.
Eating Out
There are hundreds of excellent restaurants in Denia catering for all types of international cuisine. Denia is in the Valencian region where the specialty is rice dishes, you can choose from a variety of Pealla dishes in most restaurants. The area also has wonderful fish restaurants, but if the kids insist there is also a Burger King and a McDonalds to keep them happy.
